Blodeuwedd by Gary Sanchez

Inspired by the Welsh myth of Blodeuwedd, the flower-born woman, this painting explores transformation and renewal through a lighter, airy palette. Cool atmospheric washes surround her as warm tones emerge within her form and blossoms, suggesting life growing from within. Organic, wing-like forms dissolve into open space, evoking motion, breath, and the awakening of spring.
